Recognize that only Jesus can change you.
In the New Testament book of John, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
Cry out to God in prayer and humbly repent of your sins.
In the New Testament book of Luke, Jesus described what it takes to be saved from our sins: "God, have mercy on me, a sinner" (Luke 18:13).
Completely surrender your life to Jesus.
In Luke 9:23, Jesus explained, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”
Jesus said, "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness" (John 10:10).
Thank God for His "indescribable gift" of love and forgiveness through Christ (2 Corinthians 9:15).
The Apostle Paul wrote, "Those who become a Christian become a new person” (2 Corinthians 5:17). If you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and be the Lord of your life, you will become a brand-new person and part of God’s eternal family.
